O termo "Brazilian Invasion" foi citado por Chuck
Comeau, bateirista da banda, para descrever a "invasão brasileira" que estava acontecendo no Myspace
oficial da banda, pedindo para esta, vir ao Brasil para a realização de shows.Confira o trecho abaixo:
"Alright, so if you've been on our myspace page a few times (come on...it should really be a daily habit), I'm sure you've all noticed what I like to call the "Brazilian Invasion". The fans of Brazil have taken over our comment page. They have like "petitions" requesting us to come down to Brazil and play shows! That's crazy and so amazing! I was browsing our "friends" and I think almost everybody is from Brazil! What is up with that??? I love it.
As everybody knows, the Brazilians are extremely passionate. When they like something, they f*cking LOVE it. Take soccer for example... (Ok I know it's called football in the rest of the world, but for us in North America, football is a game where grown men dress up in tights and slap each other on the butt) I read somewhere that during the last world cup, some Brazilian schools had TVs set up in the classrooms in order for the kids to not miss the games. Wow!! Now that's rad!
